Toronto International Film Festival gets amazing line-up

The Toronto International Film Festival has quite a line-up this year.

Variety has a list, and it’s well… quite a list. Looper, the Joseph Gordon-Levitt/Bruce Willis starring thriller about time-traveling mob hits will open the festival. Also showing will be the based-on-a-true-story-directed-by-Ben-Affleck Argo, documentary Love, Marilyn, and The Place Beyond the Pines, a thriller starring Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper.

Cloud Atlas, based on the excellent, genre-and-century-spanning novel, directed by the Wachowskis, will see it’s premier here as well. Anticipated not only for the Wachowskis return to film, the cast is star-studded, with Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant, Susan Sarandon, Jim Sturgess and many more filling roles. The Perks of Being a Wallflower is another novel-to-film translation showing up here, and Hyde Park on Hudson looks like a possibly Best Actor nominee for star Bill Murray.

The list goes on. Check it out over at the TIFF website and drool.
