Trailer Watch: Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom Teaser
While my computer issues continue unabated, I have a brief moment at work to share with you the trailer for Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom. While not showing much of the film besides the fact that Po (Jack Black) is back and ridiculous as ever, this is high on my anticipation list, as the original was a blast. The rest of the cast is returning as well, with new additions including Gary Oldman as the villain, Michelle Yeoh and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Po is now living his dream as The Dragon Warrior, protecting the Valley of Peace alongside his friends and fellow kung fu masters, The Furious Five – Tigress, Crane, Mantis, Viper and Monkey. But Po’s new life of awesomeness is threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, who plans to use a secret, unstoppable weapon to conquer China and destroy kung fu. It is up to Po and The Furious Five to journey across China to face this threat and vanquish it. But how can Po stop a weapon that can stop kung fu? He must look to his past and uncover the secrets of his mysterious origins; only then will he be able to unlock the strength he needs to succeed.
Kung Fu Panda 2: The Kaboom of Doom opens May 26, 2011, is directed by Jennifer Yuh, and stars Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Seth Rogen, David Cross, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu, Gary Oldman, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Victor Garber and Michelle Yeoh.

You know, I actually prefer this type of trailer; the less info the better.
‘sides, a Jack Black movie is like a Stephen King book: those who will partake of it don’t need blurbs, reviews or other incentives, they’ll just do it.
Bet you a dollar I’m the only commenter.
