Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Premium Rush gaining cast members
The job of a bike messenger has always seemed pretty awesome to me, but also pretty stressful. This movie doesn’t appear to be fixing that.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Premium Rush, a thriller starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt as “a New York bike messenger who picks up an envelope at Columbia University, only to be chased throughout the city by a dirty cop desperate to get his hands on it”, has added a few cast members. Michael Shannon (Jonah Hex, Revolutionary Road) is coming on board as the villain, while Alexa Chung (Sucker Punch,Grown Ups) would play Gordon-Levitt’s ex, another bike messenger who helps him deal with the strange situation he finds himself in.
Premium Rush is directed by David Koepp (Secret Window) and hits theaters in 2011.
