Eyes on E3: Star Wars: The Old Republic

I’ve never really been an MMO gamer. I’ll admit that I’d love to try my hand at them: the idea of exploring a huge world with a team of people from around the actual world is a compelling one, but really, I’m sort of poor. Monthly subscription fees have no place in my life, at least until I get a better job.

As far as MMOs go, I kind of lean towards games created in their own universe, not licensed properties. But this trailer, and my love of all things Star Wars, sort of changed my mind.

I give you Bioware and Lucasarts new project, Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Yeah.

Woah woah woah… hold up a second! How is she able to hold off the Sith Lord with her double bladed light saber while only using one hand?!
I'm less excited about this game since seeing the trailer. I love The Old Republic setting, and I'll hold off on judgement until I can play it, but the trailer makes me think more like Battlefront than Old Republic.
