Mrs. Stephen Fry gets book deal

Humor Tweetress Edna Fry has been cracking up her thousands of followers daily with tales of her neglectful, womanizing husband and their two adorable children (“we have six, but only two are adorable”).  Today, British publishing house Hodder & Stoughton have announced that they have secured rights to Mrs. Stephen Fry’s “top-secret diaries,” and will be releasing them in hardback this December.

Yes, you heard me right.  Mrs. Stephen Fry.

The Shorty Award-winning humorist, operating under the alias of a put-upon celebrity wife, has attracted the attention of the (openly gay) Fry himself, who has played along with hilarious results.  She (if it really is a she — Mrs. Fry has kept “her” real identity a mystery rather effectively) is now more than 56,000 followers strong, with more joining up every day.

Of the deal, Mrs. Fry says:

Oh dear! I hope my @StephenFry doesn’t find out . . .

Something tells me he’s already waiting to pre-order a copy, Edna.
