From James Cameron? Shouldn't that say “From Poul Anderson”?
Avatar is a copy and paste job. Look up “Call Me Joe” by the above author.

Just because you've heard of Poul Anderson doesn't mean Jim Cameron has. What about any of his work makes you suspect that Cameron was a great reader of old-school science fiction?
He's no great genius when it comes to plot. He finds familiar stories and hangs cool technology onto them where he can. But basically calling the man a thief is just cynical posturing.

I think it will be find. There are memorial movies ( Citizen Kane, Gone with the wind, etc.) not everything is Oscar content. It is entertainment, pure and simple. So if you have a problem move on, if not, sit back eat some popcorn, drink a drink and have fun.
