Did I hear a wilhelm scream in there?
Either way, the movie looks to be quite good, so here’s me hoping.

Not to sound pretentious, but that trailer for “The Road” makes it look like: “I Am Legend 2: No Vampire/Zombies, Just a bunch of F—ed Up People”.

I was thinking more like Road Warrior, but even more fucked up, but that works, too. Still, I think it looks good, and I have all the faith in the world that John Hillcoat will turn out something that’s at least watchable. (The Proposition is one of my favorite movies.)

If you haven’t checked out the book, it’s definitely worth reading. Like a lot of McCarthy’s stuff, it reads quickly and is tupping brilliant.
And no, that wasn’t the Wilhelm Scream. That was the fuckin’ TIE Fighter noise. Brilliant.
