Watchmen 8-bit arcade game

I haven’t been posting up-to-the-minute updates on the latest Watchmen websites and TV commercials and all of that because I, for one, would like to have seen as little as possible of the movie before going into the theater and trying to view the film as objectively as someone who hated 300 can. But this was just too cool to pass up:

The UK site for the upcoming film (due out on March 6th) features an 8-bit side-scroller (meaning Double Dragon-like) Minutemen mini-game, where you can play either Nite Owl or Silk Spectre (the 1940’s versions, obviously). I haven’t played much of it, but it’s kind of fun, and the music, in all its 8-bit glory, is pretty cool.

(Thanks to /Film for the heads up.)

I’m doing the same. One of those rare movies where the first trailer or two is enough, then I cut myself off. Dark Knight was another example.
