I heard about this at work. I was in shock for, like, thirty seconds.
Wow. Opus, Obama’s grandmother, and now Michael Crichton. It really does happen in threes.

Very sad. I loved most of his writing, particularly Sphere, which is in my top 10 books of all time.
(The movie was good, even though it was a massive departure.)

This is very unfortunate news.
This man was all kinds of genius. “Eaters of the Dead” made me actually enjoy Beowulf.

Thank you Mr. Chrichton.
