Comedian Bernie Mac, Dead at 50

According to CNN, comedic actor Bernie Mac died of complications due to pneumonia in Chicago, which were unrelated to a previous diagnosis of sarcoidosis that went into remission in 2005. The only movies I remember seeing him in were the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy and I had a lot of respect for him then. I do have to say, though, that a NYC taxicab’s in-car entertainment screen is the strangest method of hearing of an actor’s death.

Where did you get your blog layout from? I’d like to get one like it for my blog.

Many random deaths have happened in the past year or so including Heath Ledger and Anna Nichole Smith, just didn’t expect Bernie Mac to be another one. Just goes to show that tomorrow is not a promise so do what you where put on this earth for today, as tomorrow may never come!

I was shocked to turn on the computer this morning to the headlines of Bernie Mac passing away. It’s hard to believe I will never see another new movie with him in it…

If you want to view my post.

Rick: It’s modified from a design by Fredrik Fahlstad. He’s gone AWOL, for some reason. I’ve tried to contact him about paying for use of the design, but have never received a response.

I loved him in “Bad Santa”. What a shame. A great character actor and very funny guy.
