Trailer Watch: Chuck Palahniuk's Choke, He's Just Not That Into You (updated)

Choke doesn’t look like the visual knockout that David Fincher’s Fight Club was, but it looks like it will have a few things in common with That Other Chuck Palahniuk Movie: this trailer is funny, misanthropic, and dry as a bone — and a few clips online at YouTube seem to support this impression.
Choke opens September 26.
Update (5/28): A better quality version of the trailer is up at the film’s official Fox Searchlight website.
Moviefone has added the trailer for Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants director Ken Kwapis’s He’s Just Not That Into You. Adapted by Never Been Kissed screenwriters Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein from a slim non-fiction/humor book of the same title and into a romantic comedy of interconnected storylines about several couples (or would-be couples), the film stars Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Ginnifer Goodwin, Scarlett Johansson and Justin Long. While the cast is impressive, when you’re only getting your biggest stars for a few days’ work, they’re more likely to slum it for a project, but the trailer reveals a movie that doesn’t promise a happy ending for every character — unlike, say, The Jane Austen Book Club or Love Actually. To find out whether or not it lives up to that promise, though, we’ll have to wait ’til October 24.
