Trailer Watch: Remember the Daze

MovieWeb brings us the new trailer for Remember the Daze, which was previously titled The Beautiful Ordinary. Remember the Daze is writer and director Jess Manafort’s look back to 1999 at a group of teenagers’ last day of high school. The film, with its large ensemble cast full of up-and-comers and familiar subject matter, is bound to draw comparisons to Dazed and Confused. However, one viewing of the trailer reveals the tone to be more serious, and perhaps more fitting of the original title.

The film premiered last June at the Los Angeles Film Festival, and will open in Los Angeles and New York on April 11th, with a DC opening the following week. For those of you that may not get a chance to see it during its theatrical run, Remember the Daze is out on DVD June 3rd. There is a higher quality version of the trailer at the film’s website.

Shit. That’s the movie I’ve wanted to write since I got out of high school. I’m glad someone finally did. Can’t wait to see it.
