Trailer Watch: Domestic Speed Racer trailer, Mister Foe

The domestic trailer for Speed Racer has gone up, and it’s hilarious. Defiintely looking forward to this one. Check it out here or in HD at Yahoo! Movies. The Wachowski Brothers’ Speed Racer will be in theaters on May 9th.

A domestic trailer for Mister Foe (originally Hallam Foe) is up at Apple. Jamie Bell headlines the Scottish comedy about a "troubled young man whose knack for voyeurism paradoxially reveals his darkest fears"… or, rather, a kid in modern day Edinburgh who has a thing about climbing roofs. This trailer seems to showcase another knock-out performance from Bell, who was the best thing about Jumper. The film opens today, in limited release.

So I totally wasn’t interested in this movie after viewing the trailer previous to this one, even with the W brothers attached, partially because I’m not an Emile Hirsch fan. But I will be DAMNED if I miss opening night now because of how badass this looks. And now there’s finally something that might make Christina Ricci and Susan Sarandon worth watching again.

Hirsch was great in Into the Wild. He’d never made much of any impression on me before that film, though, so I know what you mean.
