Trailer Watch: Kung Fu Panda, Pineapple Express, Sex and Death 101, more

Moviefone has the theatrical trailer for the upcoming Dreamworks animated film, Kung Fu Panda. Featuring voices by Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, and Dustin Hoffman, this looks a good deal better than any of the Shrek films… but that’s not really saying much.

Also, a red band trailer for Sex and Death 101 is up at the film’s official site. It’s not really any better than the regular trailer for the Winona Ryder/Simon Baker starrer, which went up a week ago over at Yahoo! Movies.

AICN links up to the trailer for Ari Gold’s Adventures of Power at YouTube, a Napoleon Dynamite knock-off about a guy who can air drum like a motherfucker, apparently. Goofy fun, as Quint says — or goofy stupid? YOU MAKE THE CALL.

Finally, Film School Rejects has scored the leaked red band trailer for the upcoming Judd Apatow production, Pineapple Express, starring Seth Rogen (Knocked Up) and James Franco (Spider-Man). The film hits August 8, 2008.

I want to know where the The Happening trailer went.

I’m curious about it, too. The best I could find was JoBlo.com’s page saying: “The debut of the HAPPENING trailer was apparently not sanctioned by Fox or M. Night Shyamalan and the trailer has been pulled by iKlipz.”

I saw it, though, and it looked stupid.
